Tunnel Mountain Feedback Loop -- Four groups are positioned at the train station, on top of Sulphur Mountain, Tunnel Mountain and the rooftop of the JPL building at The Banff Centre. The goal is to use various methods to synchronously capture audio from a passing train and transmit it back to JPL headquarters. The Sulphur Mountain group uses two antennae, one installed on the balcony at JPL and one on top of the mountain 5 km away which extends the range of a wireless LAN. This wireless network is used to send an audio stream using KeyStroke from the top of Sulphur Mountain.

The captured audio from each station is transmitted back out into the Bow Valley through a pa system installed on the rooftop at JPL, received by the Tunnel Mountain group and then retransmitted back to JPL headquarters. A feedback loop results from the initial audio transmission.
