On Friday, June 26, 2009 BALTAN Laboratories hosts the fourth in its series of BATLAN GOES NATLAB presentations at the former Philips NatLab at Strijp-S in Eindhoven. This session will focus on the people working in the spaces in between artistic and technological research and development. Speakers include Michelle Teran (Canada), artist-in-residence at BALTAN who is developing the site-specific project ‘The City is Creative’ for flux-s, a new cross-disciplinary arts festival to take place at Strijp-S in Eindhoven from 10 until 13 September 2009; Stock, an independent software designer and developer who worked for many years in the V2_Lab in Rotterdam; as well as students from the Fontys Hogeschool ICT & Livestyle minor programme who will present the results of a series of projects developed in collaboration with BALTAN Laboratories as part of their Art & Technology semester of study.
